Evert Dreeß zu Piehe was born about 1646 in Vollerbenhof Drees, Pye, Wallenhorst, Iburg, Osnabrück, Heiliges Römisches Reich, son of Unknown Dreeß tho Piehe (~1610– ).[1]


His siblings were:

  1. Jurgen (Dreeß tho Piehe) Dreeß zu Piehe (born about 1636),
  2. Anna von Pie (born 1638),
  3. Johan Dreeß tho Piehe (born about 1640),
  4. Bernardus zu Pye (born about 1645).

In 1664, the 18-year-old unmarried Evert Dreeß zu Piehe was listed as suitable for service in the Conscription der Mannschaft Wallenhorst, a register of the Wallenhorst militia.[1]. He was residing with Dreeß zu Piehe who was operating the Vollerbenhof Drees farm in Pye, Wallenhorst parish.[1] The following people were working on Vollerbenhof Drees:[1]
